Our client based in Petersfield is looking to recruit an Account / Customer Service Executive; the successful candidate will be working within a small friendly office environment and will need to have previous experience of sales and business development. The primary function of the Account Executive is to maintain and develop sustainable and profitable customer relationships. Knowledge of engineering products and materials is preferred as is a proven track record of achievement. The successful candidate will be use to maximising new and existing business opportunities with an energetic, pro-active approach.
The mission of the Account Executive is to service the needs of the customer in a friendly and productive manner by ensuring quotes are issued, orders are entered properly and complaints or problems are resolved in a timely and appropriate manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Maintain and develop existing and new customers in order to optimise quality of service, growth and customer satisfaction

Plan and manage supplier negotiation, quotation and order placement processes for an agreed customer base

Attend Customer meetings with External Account Managers when appropriate

Promptly investigate and resolve or answer e-mails or telephone calls from customers expressing issues, concerns, questions or requests.

Perform other duties as requested by management.

Travel and Driving Responsibilities
The job requires minimal business travel and no driving responsibilities. When required to attend Customer meetings this will be in association with the External Account Manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or prior experience or equivalent combination thereof:

Minimum of 5 GCSE?s Grade C or above to include English and Maths
Minimum of 2-3 years Customer Service/Sales experience or similar capacity, preferably in the aerospace or related industry

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. An individual must be able to complete work thoroughly and accurately in a timely manner meeting productivity standards, while observing safety and security procedures and properly utilising equipment and materials.

To successfully perform the essential functions of this position, an individual must have knowledge and/or proficiency in the following industry or job-related concepts, practices, or subject areas:

Customer Service/Sales skills
Company Products and Services

Computer Skills

The nature and scope of this position requires, at minimum:

Basic general knowledge of computers and standard operating systems
Intermediate typing and data entry proficiency
Intermediate proficiency in MS Work
Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel
Intermediate proficiency in MS Outlook

Salary ?18,000 ? ?22,000 depending on experience
